A plain-language explanation of cookies and browser storage used for account sessions, security, carts, preferences, analytics, and other RRN features.
Cookie & Local Storage Policy
RRN uses browser storage when it is useful for a real feature.
Necessary technical storage is allowed. Undisclosed tracking for unrelated purposes is not.
1. Necessary storage
RRN may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar browser mechanisms for:
- sign-in sessions and account security;
- fraud and abuse prevention;
- CSRF and request-integrity protections;
- carts, checkout state, and purchase continuity;
- Reality Dial, player, station, volume, or interface preferences;
- page, schedule, accessibility, or display preferences;
- maintaining the state of a feature the user intentionally opened;
- remembering consent or privacy choices.
Blocking necessary storage may cause the related feature to stop working.
2. Analytics
RRN may use first-party or service-provider analytics to understand aggregate reliability and use.
Analytics should be limited to what is reasonably useful for operating or improving RRN. When applicable law requires consent or an opt-out for a particular analytics method, RRN will provide the required control.
3. Advertising and sponsorship
RRN may display advertising, sponsorships, promotions, or commercial messages.
RRN does not treat the existence of advertising as permission for hidden cross-site behavioral tracking.
If RRN introduces technology that qualifies as targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or another regulated tracking practice, RRN will identify the practice and provide required notices and controls before using it.
4. Embedded services
A page may contain a legitimate third-party embed, player, or payment interface. That provider may use its own necessary cookies or browser storage.
RRN will not intentionally embed a third party for the purpose of bypassing RRN's own privacy commitments.
5. Your controls
You may use browser controls to remove or block cookies and stored site data. Doing so may sign you out, empty local preferences, interrupt checkout, or disable features that require that storage.
Where RRN offers an in-product preference control, the in-product choice should be honored in addition to browser controls.
6. No secret reclassification
RRN will not call a tracking technology "essential" merely to avoid providing a legally required choice. A storage mechanism is essential only when it is reasonably necessary for the feature, security, transaction, or user-requested preference it supports.
