Privacy Policy

RBEW and RRN collect information to operate the service, complete transactions, protect accounts, support creators and listeners, and meet legal obligations.

The intent is not to collect information simply because it is technically possible.

1. Information RRN may collect

Depending on the feature you use, RRN may collect:

• account information such as email address, display name, password-derived authentication data, and account status;
• profile information you choose to publish, such as a bio, avatar, artist identity, presenter identity, or social links;
• order, purchase, entitlement, refund, subscription, coupon, tax, and transaction records;
• billing or sale-location information needed to calculate taxes, prevent fraud, or complete a payment;
• creator, presenter, station, label, contributor, payout, contract, submission, and application information;
• posts, comments, messages, reports, event activity, follows, friendships, and other content you intentionally create through RRN;
• station, playback, request, preference, favorite, playlist, and engagement information generated when you use RRN features;
• technical and security information reasonably necessary to operate and defend the service, including timestamps, session records, request metadata, security events, and device/browser information made available to the service.

RRN should not request highly sensitive information unless there is a real operational, contractual, safety, payment, or legal reason for it.

2. How RRN may use information

RRN may use collected information to:

• create and authenticate accounts;
• provide the feature you requested;
• maintain purchase history and digital entitlements;
• process payments, refunds, creator earnings, and payouts;
• calculate and document applicable taxes;
• operate social, radio, creator, event, and communication features;
• send service, security, transaction, creator, or opted-in notifications;
• prevent fraud, abuse, account compromise, and unauthorized access;
• investigate reports and preserve relevant evidence;
• respond to support, privacy, legal, and rights requests;
• improve reliability and understand aggregate service use;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce legitimate agreements.

RRN will not intentionally repurpose private information for an unrelated materially different purpose without a lawful basis and any consent required by law.

3. Payment information

Payment processing may be performed by an external processor such as Square.

RRN may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, billing details needed for the order, and related processor records. RRN does not need to receive or store a complete payment-card number merely to maintain your RRN order history.

The processor's own privacy and security practices also apply to information you provide directly to that processor.

4. Sale of personal data

RBEW/RRN does not operate on a business model of selling users' personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

If RRN ever proposes a materially different practice that qualifies as a sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or regulated profiling under applicable law, RRN will update the policy and provide legally required notice and opt-out rights before applying that practice.

Contextual advertising, sponsorships, or promotions do not by themselves mean RRN sells personal data.

5. Private messages and private information

A message marked private is not treated as public content.

RRN personnel should access private messages only when reasonably necessary for authorized technical operation, a participant's report, abuse or safety investigation, account support, legal compliance, or another legitimate reason consistent with this policy.

A report may preserve relevant message context so deleting or editing a message cannot automatically destroy evidence required to investigate the report.

6. Public information

Anything you intentionally publish to a public profile, Feed, Community, artist page, persona page, label page, event page, public comment, or similar surface may be visible to other people and may be copied outside RRN.

Privacy settings reduce platform visibility; they cannot guarantee that another user will not save information they were legitimately able to view.

7. Sharing with service providers and others

RRN may disclose information to service providers only as reasonably necessary for their services, such as payment processing, hosting, network delivery, security, email delivery, tax calculation, storage, backup, or operational tooling.

RRN may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful process, to protect a person's safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction subject to applicable privacy obligations.

RRN does not authorize service providers to use RRN data for unrelated purposes merely because they possess it.

8. Retention

RRN keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including active account operation, financial and tax records, creator attribution, contracts, fraud prevention, security, unresolved disputes, chargebacks, legal claims, mandatory retention, and reasonable backup/disaster recovery.

Deleting an account does not require RRN to erase records that lawfully or reasonably must remain, such as completed transaction records, tax records, rights and credit history, fraud evidence, payout records, or records needed to protect another person's rights.

Where practical, retained records no longer requiring a live identity should be minimized or de-identified.

9. Your privacy choices and requests

Subject to applicable law and legitimate exceptions, you may request:

• confirmation of whether RRN holds personal data about you;
• access to personal data;
• correction of inaccurate information;
• deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained;
• a portable copy where applicable;
• withdrawal of optional consent;
• applicable opt-outs involving qualifying data sales, targeted advertising, or profiling.

RRN may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

A request may be denied or limited when law permits or requires retention, when fulfilling it would expose another person's information, undermine security, destroy legitimate evidence, or interfere with another person's rights. RRN should explain the basis when it lawfully denies a material request.

Where applicable law gives a right to appeal a denied privacy request, the denial will include appeal instructions. Submit the appeal through the same official RRN privacy/support channel and identify it as a Privacy Appeal. If an appeal is denied and applicable law requires a regulator-complaint path, RRN will provide the required information for that complaint.

RRN will not deny service, charge a penalty, or otherwise retaliate against a person merely for exercising a privacy right that applies to them. This does not prevent ordinary fraud controls or action for misuse of a privacy-request process.

10. Children

Independent RRN accounts are for people age 13 or older.

RRN does not knowingly collect personal information through an independent account from a child under 13 unless RRN has implemented the legally required parental-notice and consent process for that feature.

If RRN learns that an under-13 account was created without a required consent process, RRN may restrict or delete the account and associated personal information as appropriate while retaining records that lawfully must remain.

11. Security

RRN uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service.

No online service can truthfully promise absolute security. RRN will not describe data as "guaranteed secure."

Security incidents will be investigated and handled according to applicable notification and reporting obligations.

12. Changes

Material privacy changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date unless law requires otherwise.

RRN will not use a later privacy-policy edit as fictional retroactive consent to a materially different use of information collected under an earlier promise.

13. Requests

Privacy requests should be sent through an authenticated account control where available or through RRN's official support/contact channel. Provide enough information to identify the relevant account or record without posting sensitive information publicly.
