Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy
Clear refund rules for digital goods, physical merchandise, services, preorders, presenter bookings, failed delivery, duplicate or unauthorized charges, and RRN-caused failures.
Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy
This policy protects customers from paying for something RRN failed to provide while preventing completed digital delivery, consumed services, custom work, or last-minute reserved capacity from being treated as risk-free rentals.
Mandatory consumer rights always override a stricter term in this policy.
1. General refund standard
A refund is normally available when:
- RRN charged the same transaction more than once;
- a charge was unauthorized and the claim is substantiated;
- RRN cannot provide the purchased product or service;
- RRN materially misdescribed what was sold;
- a delivered product is materially defective and RRN cannot reasonably replace or correct it;
- RRN cancels a paid service for reasons within RRN's control and cannot provide an agreed replacement;
- applicable law requires a refund.
A refund is not automatically owed merely because a customer changed their mind after receiving and using a non-defective digital product, completed custom work, or fully delivered service.
2. Digital music and downloadable products
Before fulfillment
A digital preorder or other not-yet-fulfilled digital purchase may be canceled for a refund before the product has been fulfilled, unless a clearly disclosed special-order term lawfully says otherwise.
After fulfillment
Once a digital product has been delivered to the customer's account or made available for authorized download, the sale is generally final.
Post-fulfillment refunds remain available for duplicate charges, substantiated unauthorized transactions, failure to provide the purchased file or entitlement, a materially defective file RRN cannot replace, a materially incorrect product, or another refund required by law.
Effect of a full refund
When a full refund is completed, the associated RRN digital entitlement may be revoked.
A refunded customer no longer has an RRN purchase entitlement to redownload the refunded item.
3. Physical merchandise
Unless a product page clearly states a different lawful return rule, a customer may request a change-of-mind return of eligible physical merchandise within 30 calendar days after confirmed delivery.
For a change-of-mind return:
- the item must be substantially unused, unworn, unwashed, and resalable;
- original packaging and included items should be returned when reasonably possible;
- the customer is responsible for return shipping unless RRN agrees otherwise;
- original outbound shipping is not refundable unless required by law or the original shipment was RRN's error.
If RRN sent the wrong item, or the item arrived materially damaged or defective, RRN will provide an appropriate replacement, repair where suitable, or refund and will not charge the customer return shipping for RRN's error.
Customized or personalized physical items may be non-returnable for change of mind once production begins, but defects, wrong items, misdescription, and mandatory legal rights remain covered.
4. Shipping delays
RRN will state a reasonable expected shipping time when practical.
For merchandise subject to U.S. prompt-delivery requirements, if no shipping time is stated, RRN will use 30 days as the outside default shipment period required by the applicable federal rule.
If RRN cannot ship within the promised or legally applicable period, RRN will provide the legally required delay notice and choice to consent to the delay or cancel for a refund.
RRN will not silently hold an unshipped paid order indefinitely.
5. Services and custom work
Work not started
If a paid service has not begun and no reserved-time cancellation rule applies, the customer may request cancellation and a refund.
Work already performed
Once substantial custom or production work has begun, RRN may deny a change-of-mind refund for work already completed or refund only an unearned portion when the service structure supports a partial refund.
RRN may not call work "completed" merely to avoid refunding a service it materially failed to perform.
RRN failure
If RRN cannot deliver a material promised service because of an RRN-controlled failure, RRN will provide a reasonable correction, replacement, service credit, or refund appropriate to the undelivered obligation.
6. Presenter Launchpad and reserved broadcast time
When a Presenter Launchpad or comparable paid broadcast block uses the standard RRN cancellation schedule:
Seven or more days before broadcast
The presenter may request one reschedule or a refund, subject only to an unavoidable payment-processing amount that was clearly disclosed and may lawfully be retained.
Between 72 hours and seven days before broadcast
The presenter may receive one program credit or one reschedule opportunity.
A cash refund is not guaranteed because RRN may already have committed scheduling, administrative, technical, or promotional work.
Less than 72 hours before broadcast
The reservation payment is normally forfeited.
RRN may make a documented exception for a genuine emergency or circumstance beyond the presenter's reasonable control.
Presenter no-show
A presenter who fails to meet required check-in or connection deadlines without an approved exception may lose the scheduled block and reservation payment. Repeated no-shows may affect future booking privileges.
RRN cancellation or RRN-controlled technical failure
If RRN cannot provide the scheduled block because of an RRN-controlled outage, scheduling error, or operational failure, the presenter will be offered an appropriate replacement date, program credit, or refund.
The presenter will not be penalized for a failure caused by RRN.
Intentional rule violation
A session terminated because the presenter intentionally committed a serious station-rule violation is not eligible for a refund for the terminated session.
7. Subscriptions and recurring services
When RRN offers a recurring paid service, cancellation stops future renewals according to the cancellation instructions disclosed for that service.
A completed billing period is generally not retroactively refundable merely because the subscriber later cancels unless the charge was duplicate or unauthorized, RRN materially failed to provide the paid period, the service terms provide a refund, or applicable law requires one.
RRN will not continue charging after an effective cancellation merely because internal processing was delayed.
8. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment path when reasonably possible.
RRN will initiate an approved refund promptly. The time required for funds to appear after initiation may depend on the payment processor, card network, bank, or other financial institution.
9. Chargebacks
Customers keep their lawful right to dispute an improper charge with their payment provider.
Knowingly filing a false chargeback after receiving a valid product or service may be treated as fraud and may result in account or commerce restrictions.
RRN will not threaten a customer merely for exercising a good-faith payment dispute right.
10. Refund requests
A refund request should identify the order and explain the basis for the request.
RRN may request reasonable evidence for claims involving damage, unauthorized transactions, non-delivery, or other facts necessary to decide the request.
RRN should not demand irrelevant sensitive information as a condition of reviewing a refund.
